Yeah I lucked out massively with the Space invaders piece. It went up for sale locally and I just happened to be online when it was posted. Within a few minutes of me saying I wanted it there were 10+ people wanting it as well. It has some awesome colors for sure.

Was going over corals this morning and spotted a gorilla crab in one of my ARC master yoda mini colonies! A few minutes of fishing with a shot glass and a piece of shrimp and out he came. That is the second tiny gorilla crab I have removed from the display. Even dipping doesn’t catch them all especially if they are buried inside an acro colony holding on for dear life. It is also much easier to dip small frags and check for hitchhikers.

Love the WaterBox! I settled with them mostly because of the frag tank option but now that I have seen the quality of the stand and also WB customer service ill be upsizing in the future with another WB for sure. I ordered directly from WB and had them deliver it to me.
So I lost most of my original fish to a fungal outbreak till it was only the purple tang and the mystery wrass. Then during the freeze here in Houston I lost the wrass when I was quarantining them in a 20g breeder and running the tank fallow. Somehow the tang survived and all my new fish have come from my LFS that had been holding/quarantine them all for months while my tank was fallow. I checked on them multiple times a week and since they’re were together the transition to my tank was much less stressful.

Lots of losses around Houston. Thankfully I lost nothing for having backup power.

Great build , thanks for posting. I just ordered one of these bad boys. I also ordered 3 Radion XR15 Blues to light it. Planning on a mixed reef with heavy SPS.
You think 3 Radion’s is over doing it? Most builds I’ve seen are using just 2...

For a mixed reef you can run 2 starting off. If you want to add more SpS later you can put another. I am a victim of the over estimating and I had my par at 600+ without knowing. If you have a LFS that rents par meters I would highly recommend going that route so you can put your mind at rest and know exactly what corals can go where.

I will be posting more for sure! I am in the process of reorganization on the right side of the tank and I’m placing all the frags right now. Lol also moving a geometric hawk fish over from quarantine.
