Thinking of buying a pair for my tank but thought the mounting arms didn't work on a tank with frame rim. Are you using their stock arm and did they work with no modification?

I did use the mounting arms. Had to leave the screws loose and then once in place tighten them.

I just installed the pair I bought and oh my! Its a night/day difference from my old Galaxy Hydros. The shimmer is insane - so many rippling shafts of light through the water. I have to figure out how to use the remote still - I just pushed buttons on the lights till I got something decent.

Will figure it out and get some images up!

Got my light yesterday! been so busy cant even open it yet... All the time I was going todo it today I spent hoping my power would come back on... then going out and buying a generator...

Got the light open and installed! more to follow! trying to get a video out so I can post my unboxing video for these lights.

last two shots are the backside of my dub-t mounting bracket. What I had laying about with extruded PVC ceiling tiles to cover it all up... 3D printed the T5 mounting bits and used aluminum flashing for the reflectors. I need to setup ventilation for the hood again before I can use them. Don't really need them now though - excuse to get a frag tank going...
