You're doing me dirty @WWC

I got refunded my purchase of WWC Transfer Decal Sticker 5", which happens, guessing the stock ran out. However, you'll see I got three decals, and the Transfer decal was for me, the other two are for my kids. So my kids got cool WWC stickers and I got the bill.

HUGE day today. Everything is starting to open up a little. Started reading up on these Midnight Daisy Polyps. Ooof, they sound terrible. Gotta keep a close eye on these bad boys.

Are clove polyps as bad as xenia? I got a frag of fireworks myself I was thinking of wedging them in a spot between some more aggressive corals.

No, but they are similar. Think of them like a slower-growing, more colorful, non-pulsing xenia.

I had a bower do this. Just low light / low flow. And feed.

was back to normal a few weeks later
Unfortunately I’m not sure this is gonna turn around.
Got home from work a bit ago and I think it’s rapidly going down hill. No feeding response and it’s rapidly deteriorating.

You can barely see any flesh anymore.

It happens sometimes, and it seems to happen with oversized-polyp corals more than others... coral can be doing just fine, and then inexplicably just melts away. Had it happen last week with a lobo.

I dunno. I read that Midnight Daisy shoot out shoots that travel to all over the tank. They can even shoot through other corals. Just keeping them alone on a rock isn't enough to control. I dunno, we will see.
