I've had a fowlr tank for about 1 year (72 gallon bow front). I'm now taking the dive into my first reeftank I'm building a diy stand and 125 gallon tank. 40 gallon
Reflex reef 400 sump reef octopus skimmer rated for 200 gallon. 2 radion xr30 blues so far 2 ice cap 4k gyro gonna probably need more flow. Looking into the apex system asap. Here's a little peek into my project. I'm determined I'm gonna be at this as long as I need to get this baby up and ‍♂️running !!!!! Taking advantage of my 3 day weekend up all night day 2 stand finally finish stained and protected added doors and plumbing ready to fill and check for leaks. Not sure if I'm gonna keep it in this spot decisions decisions!! So I have a question for anyone who can help me out. My mother in law is breaking her tank down (225 gal) I was thinking about using her sand I've been cycling my rocks in the garage for a little over 6 months, with her sand and my live rock a bit of Dr tims bacteria would my tank be ready for coral immediately?
