thanks guys, i was a little worried and unprepared for this type of fish totally haha, i pictured my reef with smaller fish like clowns and gobies, but it was a real blessing that she took interest in my hobby and chose a fish she thought was cute lol.

Gallery Aquatica has an awesome episode where he shows how he trains his puffer to do tricks. I highly recommend it!

By no means is my tank anything to show off, i recently upgraded from a 20g to this 75g about 2 months ago. i also removed the giant purple rock in the center to give him more room.

I had a porcupine in my reef tank for years before I lost the tank. I have 2 different buddies with porcupines in their tanks currently. They don't touch coral. Things like peppermint shrimp and emerald crabs are probably snacks though.

Just an update the Puffer is amazing so far, doesnt bother my fish or coral. I do notice he likes to completely inhale my smaller nass snails but he spits them out afterwards, i was told from the fish store he eats shrimp but ive been trying half frozen ship feeding him by hand and letting it sit at the floor of my aquarium for about 3 hrs where he likes to chill...he hasnt eaten anything yet its day 3. I do notice he likes to sort of sift the sand every once ina while? any advice on feeding?

That is normal to an extent. Try some garlic soaked food or various types of other shell fish. My valentini refused mysis/brine and mussels. He will chow down on some little neck clams and frozen grocery store shrimp.
