Heard a fairly loud buzzing sound and found the power off in the tank this morning. The buzzing was coming from the GFCI extension cord. I hit the reset button and everything powered back up like nothing had happened.

So two things.

First, what was the buzzing sound and is it something I should be concerned with (bad cord perhaps)?

Second, there is nothing in my Apex logs to suggest anything happened! Shouldn't there be some indication somewhere that power was lost to the equipment?

I'm increasingly convinced I'll never be able to leave the house again because try as I might I just can't trust the tank.

Maybe the GFI cord has an alarm?
Prob some power dip/spike from your elect co.
