I have a question about gfo. Is it suppose to leave orange crap everywhere. It's running clear out my reactor. Yes I didn't know to risen it before but it's been a week. Is my reactor too strong? Should I turn it down? I clean the filter floss pad n filter sock once every couple days it's bright red/orange? What am I doing wrong?

you need to rinse it well before ya put it in the reactor.i wiped out half a tank of corals many years ago by not doing so.i have a small 1 gallon bucket I use exclusively for that purpose.like the shampoo bottle says rinse and repeat.hope that helps in the future.
