I know there is not much to see right now, but it's coming along. The cycle finished up over the weekend, but I only wanted to add my CUC right now. I may add a few more CUC members to the tank this weekend and then sometime next week add my first fish. Then in a couple weeks add a coral or 2. Slow and steady wins the race...

My AI Prime 16HD light came in today. I’ve been messing with the colors. I like the settings that BRS gave for this light. Picture makes it a lot more blue than it is in real life.

A couple items for the tank came in yesterday. AquaMaxx FR-S reactor running Brightwell Purit in a media bag. IM NUVOSkim Breaking in. And the IM Spin Stream, it’s pretty cool how it works but I think I need a better return pump. Doesn’t push water out fast enough. Sicce 1.5?

Still waiting on my inTank refugium rack and IM refugium LED light. And I’ve decided that when I get a weekend without rain I’m going to build a stand. Anyone have any tips on stand building?

Not necessarily, but I haven’t ruled that out. I’ve thought of making it a few inches bigger so I can fit a 5.5 gallon tank or two underneath.

Right! Even though I left my career in the lab to pursue a new degree and career, the chemistry major in me couldn’t abide by my API test kits anymore.

Slowed down adding anything more to my tank. I was planning to get a Yellow Clown Goby and Peppermint Shrimp in my tank last weekend, but I decided to hold off and let the tank mature a bit more. Every few days I have been feeding my crabs a pinch of pellets, they go absolutely bonkers when I drop the pellets in, it is quite the site to see. I have added a refugium to the back of my AIO, I am thinking of adding a second one to the other overflow, but that will be down the road if I need it. I will add some pictures tomorrow morning when the refugium light is on and I am home. One last thing, since I added the refugium I have seen a lot of pods hopping around throughout my tank, so that is pretty cool. Thanks for following along and if you are new pull up a seat this is going to take awhile.
