Close-up photos from 11 July 2011… I miss some of these acros and THE original BPC FlameThrower Chalice. The FlameThower had amazing tentacles and fed like crazy… It started developing a real neat white striation pattern around the body too. But now, the rainbow chalices look even more amazing I suppose

Thanks soccerbag... That is a Tri-color Valida. There's a couple of them in there. I bought one and several months later bought another thinking it was a different coral; just a difference in lighting conditions from the LFS

It's an Outer Orbit fixture: 2x150watt MH 10k & 4x34" T-5s that are blue actinics. The fixture is about a half a foot above the tank for good coverage.

Since April 2010 in the 120... I really started it all in a 40 breeder in Oct 09, then a 65 gal for a few months. Thanks!!!

I'm really amazed by God's creation, especially when it comes to coral; the variety of colors/designs He has made is endless it seems... I wonder how many fellow reef tank enthusiasts feel the same?

I do! It amazes me,it is like each coral is its own work of art! Patterns,shades of color,how it looks in differant lightings,growth patterns,the list goes on and on!!!
