I use a Vertex triplex for routine glass cleaning.
I use a Kent wand style scraper with metal
edge for the back wall of the tank.

The Alginator 2500 (I like saying it in an Arnold Swarznegger voice) as I have a rounded corner aquarium it's perfect for my needs

and just a shaving razor blade on a stick type cleaner for the sand level

I'm using the Flipper Max. It works, wish the blade was cheaper lol. Other than that only have the magfloat. I like the flipper better (than the magfloat) bc it has minimum contact with the glass (blade side) and it's a strong magnet.
Guess it's more about how strong the magnet is and having one side with a blade and minimum contact with glass, not so much about the brand.
Also like to use it with the glass wet (both sides lol).

It’s a sad day in this country. It’s hard enough trying to balance a reef aquarium, let alone having these problems brought among us. We struggle through COVID-19, riots,Racism, a shut down of businesses. But at the end of the day,Reef2Reef is a place I can come to as a democrat or a republican, and help me work through my problems. We work together, not against each other. I’ve asked for help with my reef aquarium and some people never replied. And I’ve asked for help with my reef aquarium and I had more replies than ever. I guess what I am trying to say is separated we can’t accomplish anything.Just like this site some are Democrats, some are Republicans but we work together and we help each other build BEAUTIFUL DREAMS. Thanks Reef2reef.

Taam Rio Algae Scraper is the best I ever used. They would dull after a few uses but were cheap enough to replace often.

I wish I could still find these. Please PM me if you have a source as I've not been able to get any Rio distributor to order them for me in years....

Algae Free Hammerhead

I looked at the Flipper. But felt that the looks and quality of the Hammerhead justified the price.

Just bought a new Tunze that floats. Got the strong +. Cleaned the glass very well and I could get down to the sand and not get the grains stuck behind the pads. Very pleased so far!

I have a 360 and use a max flipper it is acrylic. It works well but I have to replace the blade once a month which is a pain.

Flipper Max

Its very simple to use, and you can leave it in the tank which makes life even easier.

I keep one in both my tanks hidden in the side corner so you can’t notice it
When you bring it from the sides to the front, doesn't it damage the silicone?

3 tanks here.

1. Which glass/algae cleaner, scraper tool do you use?

Big tank - Mighty magnet F-6

135g - Flipper max
50g drop -off - Tunze with acrylic scraper

2. Which tool do you think is the best when it comes to keeping your glass clean?

Algae magnets all the way. Time saver, easy to clean and keeps fingers out of the tank
