Organized !!Definitely open for me. Wanted to add dark tinted glass doors on the front and sides, but decided to keep them off for now. Maybe later..

This is on another level. How long have you been reefing ?I had to vote other since my stand is completely enclosed, it does not even have doors or any openings.
But all of my equipment is out in the open in the fish room.
I'm still working on cable maintenance and a few other things here and there, but it is already an additional focal point that everyone loves to checkout after admiring the tank.
Thank you. Somewhere in the neighborhood of 5 or 6 years I think. This is on another level. How long have you been reefing ?
That is super cool! The LED lights really add to the look.I think the glass display door would be great, just means you would need to run LED’s all the time together the look.
just through the build stage of new build, once I got the led’s powered up I though it would good with a glass door where the Apex controller is.
Currently have under tank led’s that also light up the apex and sump led’s.
Considering changing the door on the apex side to show setup.
Both LED’s are connected to apex through door sensors, these come on for 10 minutes after the door opens.
That H1 in the backgroundThe tank im currently building will be an open stand. Heres the stand so far
are you planning to put the humvee on that stand? Please don't tell me you are putting a lowboy on that stand. The way you built that stand, i think it can handle easily a 1000gThe tank im currently building will be an open stand. Heres the stand so far
looks awesome. Such a beautiful setup... would look absolutely amazing if you had a custom made ato container. Not of clear acrylic, but white acrylic with a clear viewi window on the front. My tank had a lit, but most of the time it is off. I like the view and during summer it is more easy to keep the tank on the right temperature.
Lol its for a 230 gallon definitely no low boyare you planning to put the humvee on that stand? Please don't tell me you are putting a lowboy on that stand. The way you built that stand, i think it can handle easily a 1000g
I have built several stands and I used to build them out of 2x4 and even 2x6. The stand was firm, strong, cheap and can hold a real tank. After wrapping it in cheap plywood, I could barely fit a 10g tank underneath. so much space was lost. Then I went to a pet store to look at their stands. 240g tank held up by flimsy 3/4" mdf. Some 100g tanks were made of 1/2" plywood.Lol its for a 230 gallon definitely no low boy
