Everything is going just fine.

Because the high grow rate and maintenance with build in T5 bulbs is a real pain in the butt, i am building a new tank lighthing.
This how it is now:

WOW, your 300g reef is absolutely stunning. Your DSR method is very intriguing. I will be researching this more for sure.

Glenn, is it a matter of the corals growing faster than the butterflies can pick at the polyps, or do they just not bother?

Both...
if you have enough healthy corals they can take some pecking.
Those butterflies in my 200liter reef are not real hardcore coral peckers.

Unlike these two....

A reef tank with a Collare Butterfly. One of my favorite fish. I don't know if I have the courage to put one in my mixed reef.

I have 3 captive bred Singapore Angels that I have in a grow out tank right now. Once they've grown enough to compete with the other fish for food they go into my reef tank. The breeders are interested to see what the angels do with the corals. They've never been exposed to corals so it's a question of whether their natural instincts kick in or if they'll stay with prepared foods.

aggression against new fish and the stress that come with it, is a very high risk for the in newcommers. So take care to do so...
Instinct wil have a strong influence on their behaviour in time
