Can your method be done with no sand, or bare bottom?
Sorry, i completely missed this posting.
But as i explained in previous posting. I have never tried it without a sand bottom.
I do believe the substrate contains the mayority of the beneficial bacteria

Amazing as always; thank you for the inspiration! I have adopted many of your dosing recommendations, recently having a breakthrough by dosing PO4 and NO3 directly to keep them in range in my fishless system. Previously I tried to keep them in range by feeding the inverts quite a bit. Having fantastic results now! Thanks again!

Nice to hear about your succeses.
Don't rush and stick to the "plan". Eventually you will learn to control your system as i do.
The method is just the tool to master.

Glenn just stunning. Could you talk about your maintenance of this tank. It looks nice and clean. Do you stir or clean the sand? Do you have any algae issues in the tank? How often are you cleaning the glass? Thank you for all your great info and pics about your system.

The DSR/EZ system is now being distibuted in USA and now platinum sponsor on Reef2Reef.

I wish them much succes for bringing it out there to the reefers .
It's great opportunity for reefers and LFS, because the system has proven it selves for quite a while now.
In the Netherlands 60+% of the reefers uses DSR. Many nice dutch tanks are on DSR products.
