Recently got into the Alveopora & Goniopora collecting scene. Here's a few shots of the frags I've recently added to my collection.

Red Goni with black mouths
Has a subtle speckled/glittery pattern on the polyps.

New member here! :yo: I didn't see a show-off thread for goniopora, but hopefully there are enough of us succeeding with flower pot corals to warrant one, because I would LOVE to see more of these! Here's mine:

Made this close-up pic my screen saver.
It's a bit pinker than it looks in person; I'd say the true color is halfway between the pink in close-up shots and the red you see in my FTS:

I don't know which species I have, but it's defied the difficult label these carry, since I do nothing special for it. I have low to medium flow in my tank and broadcast feed once or twice a week. I see it catch food each time, but I don't make any effort to target feed.

I bought it as a tiny frag in a local shop about a year and a half ago:

One of my best coral purchases to date! Anyone else have one doing well?

This is the sweetest gonio I have ever seen! Are you going to be selling these on live sale? What does it mean when they dont extend tentacles very far? I have three and two are brand new, the new ones extend a long way but then again I have them acclimating on sand bed and the other blue dawn barely extends them! Should i keep low so they are stretching for light? I moved my blue dawn a little lower and still hasnt changed. About all I can see are the tops and about 1/4 inch of the tentacle. Its very dense and tightly compacted together! I have had it about a year and its always been like that!
