How did I miss a goni thread. This oldie shows 3 or 4 or 5...

The pink one in the upper right took over, and would balloon up at every feeding.

Just got some recently from Lazy’s house of corals. And got to give this Alve some love it is an absolute tenticle monster. And got to throw an update of Goni’s other cousin Bernard. Such a true orange I love it. And after almost loosing him completely the old iron man Goni is making a come back.

Anyone know the difference btwn the Jae's Atomic balls vs UC Amazeballs? I have the Atomic Balls, want to know if the Amazeball is different enough to justify getting one.

My first flowerpot. Only had it for a week so far. Think I got a really healthy specimen as it already had new polyps growing. Tidal gardens called a gamora goniopora. Hopefully it does well.

Are alveoporas welcome? Found this thread when screening to be sure I didn't double-post. Check out my garden (taken with an orange lens)!

Looks like you walked into the wrong neighborhood buddy. You need to take these dirty pictures elsewhere

Ahhh just kidding. Those look awesome. Back when I first started getting into corals, i really like Alveoporas, just too much of a newbie to successfully keep them..

Here is my peninsula of goniopora.
I've fragged alot of them so some of them are smaller than they were and the cutouts are facing the back so the pretty round side faces the front. So some of them look annoyed and not fully open because they were recently fragged. Actually about 50% of all the corals in my current display tank are frags. of my frags. As you can see. Except for the encrusting stuff. I can only nuke them.

I find some of the encrusting goniopora, and all encrusting corals in general, to be wary of (had I known when I was a noob!) because I think they will soon take over the rock. I might have to use kalkwasser slurry method of killing aptisasia and manually pruning them that way, because I can't take the rock out.

You guys with encrusting goniopora, take heed!

PS: Those neon orange ones with yellow center to the far left and little fraggy version to the far right, I can't believe how neon BRIGHT orange they are even in 10K white light! Thats how they really look in any spectrum of light!

EDIT: white balance adjusted. My blues were killing the photo.

EDIT 2: My fish are camera hogs because they think I am going to feed them. Sorry, there is NO way I can take any photos of my tank because my fish will always try to be in the view. Annoying! Lol

Can anyone id this guy?
The color in the pick’s not the best but it’s pink with blue on the tip of the tentacles
I just picked him up yesterday from my lfs.
They were planning to tear down one of there display tanks and started to sell the corals in it. I believe this guy was in there for a few years years. Little guys not fully extended because I was doing some algae scraping near by.

Tidal gardens called her a gamora goni

they called it a gem eye goni

there’s also a sizzling goni and a fruitloop micro goni that I can’t get decent pictures of due to how far back in my tank they are.

I think I have a goni obsession.

The one on bottom is alveopora ( a cousin to goni but hardier)
