What would be a good/ cheaper replacement for a yellow tang and not a foxface because they sometimes go after corals. The tank is 60 gallons but I am upgrading the tank. Something that can replace the usefulness of the two fish. Upgrading to 120-160 gallon tank.

Are you asking for a yellow fish?

What size are you planning on upgrading to?

No just a fish that is as useful as these two and 120-150 tank.
Kole tang - Great with algae
Tail spot blenny - algae and pods
yellow coris- pretty fish and eats flatworms
Blue head - NOT YELLOW Kleini butterfly - eats aptasia

Flame Fin Tomini… had mine about a year following the death of my Y.E. Kole. Both are great choices, similar behavior (utilitarian fish), but I’ll give the edge to the Tomini. I love that guy!

Have you had problems with yellow tangs eating corals?

Have you had a foxface eat coral? I've had a few different rabbits, usually the foxfaces do OK and don't eat it (keeping them fat and fed is the key)... Now the other flavors of rabbitfish, I didn't have good luck with a Goldspot rabbit but I did have good luck with a two bar rabbit.

I'm with everyone else, I'd go for a zebrasomas or a Ctenochaetus tang.

Yellow will eat coral. Bluehead ive had 3 years and no issues. Two recent people who were concerned and got them for aptasia said I was right- No issues.
