I found this guy in my tank. He was hard to get out. Now that I got him ---good crab or bad crab? Any advice would be great. Hate to kill him for no reason. He is about the size of a quarter. Thanks,Dave

Not sure...but when I find things like that, I don't even take a chance...off to the fuge or the toilet!

I am thinking unfortunately the toilet is his future allso. I would probably never get lucky enough to catch him again if he did start causing a problem. Thanks for your advice.

That sounds like a easy way to tell good from bad. A friend has a crab in his tank he wants me to hunt and I will keep that in mind before wasting a whole night. Thanks!!

Before you send him off to the toilet advertise free mantis food on RC. I''m sure the mantis owners would love to have him for the cost of shipping.

Just my thought.

Well he joined the aligators in the sewer system. I agree with you guys it is not worth the chance. My LFS has a mantis tank----I guess I could have put him to use there...Next time.

I had a similar one I put in the sump. He's been happily living there ever since, I see him every so often. I agree - use him for food or something, seems sad to kill him for no reason:(
