ALRIGHT!! I’M PLEASANTLY SURPRISED. Petsmart made it right. My new shipment arrived today and although I didn’t weight out the contents, It seems more than legit. 4 large rocks and a branch. My branch broke in transit but that’s ok. My tanks are small and I probably would have broken it up anyways. Keep the faith! And just keep calling if they give you the run around.

Mine shattered into pieces. The seachem matrix was very upsetting. 1/4 of them were not Pumic but solid rocks!!!!!! Will do separate post on it so others are warned!!

Happy to report everything went smoothly with my order. I ordered 2 x 20lbs and that's exactly what I received. First box I opened no damage, but second box had a lot of broken pieces. Still very satisfied.

I never heard from petsmart so I decided to call. I explained that the branch rock was shattered into piece and was told to ship it for an exchange or refund. What a waste of time. I request just a small partial refund and that didn’t happened.

If I were you guys and you want this rock, go to your local Petsmart (if you have one close) as they generally have this rock on the shelves at 3 of our local stores and you could show them the online price and ensure you are seeing exactly what you are getting. Hopefully they would price match it. This way you could also have them weigh it on their pet scales to ensure you are getting the right weight.
Might save you some hassles, or maybe even share with customer service if you find a local site has some on hand.
