What be this? Should I send it to the critter ocean in the sky or keep it? Is this not one of those ugly cousins to Aptasia? ;Bored

Actually just did some digging on the net, seems its a brooding anemone.

Epiactis prolifera, the brooding, proliferating or small green anemone, is a species of marine invertebrate in the family Actiniidae. It is found in the north-eastern Pacific.

Could be majano, just never seen one look like that.

@KJ can tell us for sure when he comes online.

I used marine putty (coral putty) and smothered the spot. Never to be seen again. I did not have any luck with aptasia X seemed to always come back. Good luck

I just bombed it with Aptasia X about 30 mins ago and it took it, imploded and went to anemone heaven.

But I'll keep an eye on the spot and report back. If necessary I'll break out the purple putty...
