This may sound dumb but I’ve never had something shipped this big. Did the delivery truck have a pallet jack? I’m hoping to set the tank in the garage until I can get the stand together and gather enough friends.

They are shipped on a pallet and the driver will be able to wheel it into your garage. However, I do believe the stand is UNDER the tank on the pallet. So you'll have to be clever in removing it if you don't want to move the tank.... And I believe the tank is in the neighbourhood of 480 Pounds just for a heads up:)

Usually the tank is passed off to a third party and like mentioned will have a pallet jack to place it in your garage. Moving into the house will be the fun part...

Very cool that this happened.... WTG BRS [emoji106][emoji106][emoji106]

Ensure your tank location can support the weight... Then get ready for the awesome build ahead [emoji106][emoji106][emoji106]

P.S. I just looked at what size a 750 is and I’m confused?

Is it 160 or 200 gallons?

My understanding is it’s a 160 gallon tank with a 40 gallon sump.

Congratulations!! This is a build thread I can't wait to follow. Do you think you'll go dominant on sps, lps or will you shoot for a nice mix reef? Do you get to pick your corals from WWC or are they predetermined?? Either way I can't wait to see how this comes together.;Drool

This was the 55 gallon I had setup prior to moving 3 years ago. It was a really simple setup. I had a AIO box built to hold filter floss, tunze skimmer, heater and maxi jet return pump. I used kalk in the ATO and had a 4 bulb ATI fixture. I really liked the movement from the large softies.

When we moved I got a IM Nuvo 40 gallon. I tried to run it on the same KISS methods as I did the 55 gallon but never achieved the same results. I blame this mostly on the fact that I couldn’t stay out of the tank. I just couldn’t find a place for things in the cube. I have taken this tank down and gave away the rock and coral for a fresh start with the XXL750.

My wife set out out snacks and drinks for the UPS driver. He deserved it! Amazingly not a single box had damage.
My first thought when seeing all the gear in your dining room was “Oh boy, his wife must want to kill him”!! Good to hear she’s onboard and treating the UPS guy to some snacks! ;)
