If you have nuisance algae we want to sponsor your tank! We are looking for 3 tanks to sponsor in order to get good photos, you will get $50 each as well as free supplies. This contest will be going on Facebook as well! Here are the details:

    1. Your tank needs to have some nuisance algae, even if it is only a small patch. The more the better but we're more concerned about photo quality than algae content.

    2. You must take good, clear photos. Please post a shot of your tank showing algae and fish, the more fish the better!

    3. That's it. Be a good photographer and have algae. If your tank is selected you will receive $50 and free supplies.

Aw dang, I had a bunch of hair algae and bryopsis. I am 10 days in to dosing with reefHD and it’s almost all gone now. I would pull all of the bryopsis out of the sand and rocks before I tried reefHD and two days later it would all be back

Do you want full tank shots or close ups. Do you want white lights or blue lights on. 20170905_215603.jpgthis was taken in September. 20171101_003912.jpgthis was taken last week with my phone. I know this is not a great picture. I am at work. I have a Canon T1i. I can get it and my tripod and take some better pictures when I get home.

Wish you guys had this up weeks ago I ordered Reef Flux from Premium Aquatics and it got rid of my Bryopsis outbreak! I know you say it doesn't affect bubble algae however with in the same time period all areas that had bubble algae are gone. Also rock is insanely clean. Amazing product tell as many people as I can to use it, true miracle lol. Thank you again!

I could totally use this! I am currently battling GHA, Bryopsis, Bubble Algae, and some weird puffy ball algae.

I have been battling brown algae for the last six months. It has wiped out my entire tank except for part of a frog spawn coral and one Pajama Cardinal. I have tried everything suggestedand nothing gets rid of it. I do a water change vacuum the sand and 2 days later it’s back. I have currently removed all my live rock, scrubbed it as best I could and have been treating with Dino X and hydrogen peroxide. Desperate. I don’t care about the $50 I just need to find a solution.

I have a RedSea Reefer 350, Reef Octopus Protein Skimmer, and use RODI water for a 25% water change weekly. In the last two weeks everything in my tank has died . Death by algae. I have tried every remedy I have heard about. This last weekend I removed all my live rock, scrubbed it, removed sand, washed it, did a water change (25%)and continuing to use Dino X and Hydrogen Peroxide with lights off. Today the tank looks pretty good, of course all that is left is 1 pajama cardinal and 5 heads of frog spawn. I have repeatedly talked to local fish store, BRS and online. Within days the brown and green algae is back. I’m out of ideas. During the time of high algae all water tests look great. No nitrate, nitrites. PH is 8.4. Calcium 400,Magnesium 1300. Temperature 78, two hydra 26 lights, on 6 hours a day at 50-60%. Running carbon and GFO. I’m hesitant to start restocking . Any suggestions?
