Well,
Both sides of the family get an kick :p that I'm getting older ;Oldman, even though most of them, are older than me... ;Wacky

So they all gathered around and handed me the last gift and this was what I got.

Update...

Well,
We lost the unknown carpet nem. and it sure looked like it had bleached out. It never did come out into the light from day one.

Now,
The two BTA's are melting away and have no clue what's going on?? :(
Maybe the dying carpet nem. released something in the water column that's effecting the BTA's??

Other than that the reef is looking great.

Hey that Aquariclip did a great job freddie! Glad you got one so we can see those colors. If pics end up a bit dull from the aquariclip try out Snapseed. It's a great photo editor that isn't too heavy handed.
Thanks, Rakie

Hard to know, but it might have been a goner in anyone's tank :(

No idea, but that's heartbreaking. Hopefully they recover. I almost hate to mention it, but could the angel be nipping them. Maybe he got a taste for them.

No Regal nipping, Micheal

It must be an water chemistry issue. The rest of the reef is looks great. I'm wondering if the carpet nem. released some kind of toxins that effects the BTA's??

If the whole reef was going down hill, then I'd pull an Triton test, but all the main corals and fish are thriving.

Since you and I started the Reef Roid's for the dendros, the lps polyps have gotten huge. The ducan heads are massive.

The BTA's look like their just melting away, (not opening up) but no, seen damage.

I've had the two BTA's for years :(

Fudsey,

Thanks for your input.

I hardly ever run GAG, but I just put in some Red Sea "Reef Spec" carbon and will run for 24 hours to see if toxins have been released into the water column from the carpet nem.

I think that's about the best we can do.

I'm just logging in and out real fast. Work is busy ;Dead

I just looked at the Kitchen calendar and I used Frontline Plus on the dogs (for the first time this year) Wednesday night.
I did not wash my hands after the application, and I got wet (in the sump) from pulling the filter sock so I could rinse it in the sink.

The nems. went downhill after that...

Both dogs are getting an bath today, in case the Frontline is airborne.

That is a possible evil.... but still it should affect more than just the nems. I hope some carbon will solve the problem
