What about the OCD?! It will demand 3 front fill lights soon lol

We'll go with the Orphek OR 35" long (Blue Sky) led bar if the "tinker bug" remains, for the front.
The a80's costed nothing, but time.

Got my eye on something else down the line and trying to stay focused on that project.

So you're finally ready to get into breeding the big lizards eh? ... I approve

Love. Great idea.
Well,
It was your idea when you posted on Salty's thread. I just could not get that out of my mind.

Lol!!
We got to name it something... ;Wacky

Kinda looks like something off the Jetson's or a Stealth Bomber!!

Don't be like my stuff without comment :p:D:D:D

I would say keeping up with your thread, the calcium reactor was one of the best additions to your system. @Crabs Mcjones was running the ap700 and switched to MH with T5's. Maybe Zach can give you some insights on Zach settings.
I still like the full LED lighting and set right they have great growth without the bulb replacement and heat.

How has it affected your corals?

They have been on for about a month now and I see better color in a few of my acros and see better polyp extension in all. I added into a 4 bulb T5 with 3 blue + and one purple.

I’m not noticing any growth yet but it has not been too long and I’m sure they are just adjusting.

Wish we could find par readings on the Orphek, I’ve seen others asking. It’s totally my next purchase for the tank.

I say u go my way

Four Xho bars
Four four foot t5s
And two 250 watt halides

Worst comes to worst in the winter your house heater won’t run as much and if your close enough to your tank you can get a winter tan all pluses in my eyes

We are in America where more is better

Welp,
It's just not the same :( without the S-400's ole (kessil a8o) "mag lights"

a80 #1 is a total loss - ;Cow / a80 #2 is just fine as long as it's at the end of the chain... :)

Phase-1.... of the AP700 / 3 - a80's / with the Red Sea led bar (DIY)... is done.. ;Woot

Well, Jeffery
Thanks for the help, but I run the AP700 to Dana's settings.

Hahahaha.

So you used the a80 to reduce the shading like most do a t5?
Yeah,
And it nailed it!! ;Woot ;Woot

But, I wanted to fly them for you. We've got to run the Mag Lights... :D
