That really does look like a quality piece of equipment, and it’s a nice touch with the signed certification as well. Oh and a pen!

Alright,
Some guts of the Abyzz A100

The a100 does not have the four screws on the intake to service the impeller.

MVIMG_20190804_143847.jpg

Turn to left and pull off the intake

MVIMG_20190804_144033.jpg

And you get this / small o-ring too

MVIMG_20190804_144043.jpg

And the shaft pulls out and looks like this / with a half moon shape too

MVIMG_20190804_144302.jpg

Open block with other side of the half moon

MVIMG_20190804_144454.jpg

And lining back up

MVIMG_20190804_144323.jpg
MVIMG_20190804_144402(1).jpg

Snug fit

MVIMG_20190804_144436.jpg

The small opening on the upper left side, pulls cool water to the back of the titanium shaft, then to the front of the impeller at all times. This keeps the bearings cool and stops calcium build up. So the prop's shaft is made to float in cool water.

______________________________________________________________________

Placed an order Friday night thru Amazon.

1) Red Sea Reef Energy A and B / came in this afternoon
2) Sally's Seaweed Salad
3) Oaley ABS to PCV cement

2 and 3 will come in tomorrow.

Calling Red Sea to get another screw on fitting, o-ring and new flexy hose to the manifold.
Would like to keep the old pump in tack for a quick change out. Never know...

The two O fitting are to go from metric to US. I think... ;Cow

Woah!! Abyzz makes an A100 now? That's awesome!

It's basically a nano pump compared to the 200, or 400. A guy in my club has a 2000g outdoor frag tank... 20' long, no joke. The 400 delivers flow all 20' with HUGE 2" eductors. The thing is INSANE.

The A100 can probably only power a teeny little 500g or so :D

Wow... I have some serious pump envy! I have a better feeling for why they cost so much now!

lol
Even at 20% off it's still a huge chunk of change, but the quality is at a higher level then Royal Exclusiv.

Brew,
This thing is super nice, (lol) wanted to cuddle and sleep with it the first night.

@PanchoG

Just got what I wanted from Red Sea USA, but paid $100... :(

Had to buy the "entire" S 400 manifold to get all the parts I needed.

Is, what it is, brother.

Ooops.. well, you now have what you wanted [emoji16] so I think it is good!

I think about our tanks like boys toys (or girls toys for the ladies) so we happily expend money just to get our systems to where we want them to be (I do not what to say to my wife every time she ask me how much money I have used my tank [emoji850]...)

You have to make a video once you have it running.

"Hello, Ariel

Freddie xxxxxx
xxxxxxxxx
Murfreesboro, TN 37128

We have an issue with the order that I placed on Monday.

I purchased what I was told to buy, from you guys (on Monday), that I had to buy, that would connect all the way down to the S-Series main return pump, in the sump.

I'm trying to swap out my old main S-Series pump, to an Abyzz A100.

I wanted the o-ring / male screw in fitting (and what ever else I needed) including the entire hose down to the main pump.

That way if I had any pump issue, I could just "Screw" the old main pump, back into the manifold.

I was told if I bought a new S 400 manifold that those parts are on it, all the way down to the main return pump, and it was the only way to get those parts.

Welp,
It came in today, but it has "none" of the parts to the main pump. The parts that are on it, go up ^ to the back of an S-Series, "not" down to the main return pump. The other "male" screw on's are a
different size, than the size of the "male" from the return pump, that screws into the built in "female" manifold's return pump's screw in fitting. So that will not work either.

The first attachment is "all" that what I have to have. Outlined in yellow.

New O ring / "Male" screw in (with nipple for hose) and new hose all the way down to the main pump.
Does that not come in, all one piece, down the the main pump / except the O-ring?

That way I can just switch either pump, by screwing them on or off the manifold.

The second attachment is what I was told that I had to buy, to get what I needed.

lol
It's "everything", but the parts that I needed... :(

Can you please help to make this right?

Daytime phone (911) 911 - 9119

Thanks, Freddie"

The contruction on that MIA part looks a bit shoddy. I suspect it will leak if you try using it based on the rough edges.:p

I do hope you get this resolved soon!
