This is my larger display tank under blues.

Bro, well done! The growth formations on this system are the best you have grown yet, I love it. I would rather see a daylight pic but either way a great look for sure.

Rainbow Smoothie - This was a frag I got as a no-name or lost the name of it. It's one of the absolute nicest acros I own. Has developed insane colors over time in my system. Unfortunately it grows very slowly, this is the only piece I have. I almost lost it last year when the base started to recede. I cut it an fortunately it had recovered. I'm hoping it grows a bit more so I can cut some frags for backups.

RMF Snapdragon - Interesting piece from RMF. People think it's Fox Flame when they see it, but if you put the two corals side-by-side it's without a doubt a different coral. It has some copper and green undertones that don't show up on Fox Flame.

RMF Tiger's Blood - This piece is growing well and the grafting it has developed in my system has continued to spread. Probably my favorite and bets colored of the yellow-bodied red-polyped acros (pink floyd, diabolic pacman, afterparty, etc). I have them all and it's just a bit brighter than the rest, especially with the grafting. You can see the grafting better in the close up pic.

CRT Limit Breaker - Another beautiful acro from Hung. Picking up pace and branching nicely.

I move the rainbow smoothie! I hope it does well for you!

What is your photoperiod look like? Incredible Acros - definitely aspirational!

My tanks are all lit by one of the following combos:
Radion G5 Blue / Reefbrite Blue XHO
Radion G5 Blue / T5 Blue Plus / Reefbrite Blue XHO
T5 Blue Plus / Kessil A360WE blue channel only / Reefbrite Blue XHO (LPS tank, very blue)
Radion G4 Pro/ T5 Blue Plus / Reefbrite Blue XHO (small red sea reefer 425XL display)

I run the reefbrites for 12 hours.
T5s are on for 7-8 hrs
Radions are on for 8 hours, but 1 hour ramp up and down, so only 6 hours peak.

I appreciate it very much! I just upgraded to the G6s and have noticed quite a bit of fall off on my par. They look great but was only getting 175 PAR on their AB+ program so I am going to add some T5s. Looking to replicate what you are doing. Again, great job!

I just had to change my old hydra 52 hds and went with 2 xr15 g6 pros for my 50g 24” cube. I was pretty shocked how low the par on these is as well…..even at 100% intensity.

Yeah, I was surprised Ecotech went with even wider spread with the G6s. It's already quite wide with the G5s. As a result I run my lights anywhere from 6-10" above the water. If I were you I'd definitely try dropping them to 6" above the water.

I have a few smaller SPS tanks with G5 Blue / Reefbrite. 40 gallon with 3x XR15 and a 30" RB. 50 gallon tanks with 4X XR15 and two 30" RBs. Where I'm going with this is if you want SPS dominated you probably want 4X XR15s on that tank or add something like a couple reefbrites.

This is my larger display tank under blues.

I run different radion profiles based on if and what I'm supplementing them with. On the 300 gallon in the pic below I also run t5 blue plus and reefbrites. On this tank the radion profile is:

Cool White 60
Blue 100
Royal 100
Red 100
UV 100
Violet 100
Cyan 50
Lime 50

Definitely worth the nomination - in regards to the g6 I have 3 over my 60x30x24 running Graham's percentages:

Cool White 60
Blue 100
Royal 100
Red 100
UV 100
Violet 100
Cyan 50
Lime 50
plus 2 x blue plus
and 2 x 48" Reef Brite XHO

Hoping this will help overall

@gws3 Do you utilize Kalk?

No kalk for me. Personally I'm skeptical of running top off water through kalk. Evaporation rates will vary day to day so I see that as a less stable dosing technique. Pushing water through a kalk reactor with a doser would likely be stable, but I already dose two part so I'm not sure I see a clear benefit.

Looking at all your pics seems like only mp40s on the back for flow? You definitely need a TOTM to get into details but would love to know more about the flow situation. Types of pumps, settings/percentages, location, etc. I was playing around with mp40s on the back but got kinda spooked out of it because it seems like no one does it. Bare-bottom ofc ;)

So after reading those I guess my edited flow question is if you believe in lowering flow during the night? I think the fish like this and I assume the ocean slows down at night as well, pros and cons? Also still curious on a more in depth take on why you prefer flow from the back, obviously its the best looking but are there any other reasons?

I have a lot of tanks, but only two of them are really display tanks.

My sps dominated 300, blues:
