New 65 gal tank. Lots of live rock that has been bleached in the sun for 4-5 weeks. Did put live sand in at startup and used MicroBacter Start XLM - Brightwell Aquatics. But we seem to have some grayish looking slimy algea. Pictures just turn out blue of the tank...

Hard to speculate without pictures. How recently did you start the cycling process, what do you have for filtration and flow and are you doing anything like ghost feeding?

Have not started any ghost feeding. Filtration is a sump with 1 1/2” Spheres Ceramic Biomedia - MarinePure in the sump. Set the tank up with rock and live sand about 5 weeks ago. As far as flow, there are 2 power heads that are 1500 gph, one on each side of the tank.
