Hi, I’m new to the hobby and I’m still just figuring stuff out. I’ve got this green algae of some sort and I’m trying to figure out so I can get rid of it. If some one can help me identify it and what should I do to get rid of it. Thanks.

What size tank do you have?
whats your lighting schedule like?
What type of lights do you have?
do you use mechanical filtration?
I have a biocube 32G it’s a stock light and my lighting schedule is 6am to 10am blue lights 10am to 6pm white lights. 6pm to 12am blue lights. I’ve got filter floss, chemi blue, purigen

Looks like some type of macro algae, possibly sea lettuce. A diverse clean up crew will enjoy keeping it at bay for you
I’ve got a pretty good clean up crew they seem not to be interested in it. I’ve got snails, hermit crabs, conch, urchin.

That is a good crew, I’m surprised the crabs or conch are not going to town on it.

Way too long of a lightning schedule! Bring it back to no more than 12 hours. And change filter floss every other day
