over the years i have had every omnivore you can think of and nobody eats from the clip.People say get algae sheets but i have had a fish eat any of it.So what's the secret? This is the third brand and still no interest from coral beauty or one spot foxface. It's only been a hour but i have my doubts.

Have you tried attaching it to a small rock (with a rubber band or string/thread)? Maybe your fish are too shy to eat off the glass?

No i haven't tried that.It just tries to graze off of everything.I did break a piece off and let it float and the foxface eats it.I'm worried about the coaral beauty.I'll try it on the back wall maybe it's shy.

If they are picking algae off your rocks, what's the problem?

How did you come to that Fear?

Does the fish show symptons?
no but i'm going through a algae spike from over feeding and when the algae is gone i'm worried it will not eat what i give it.It's definetly healthy and colorful.

The algae will never be "gone".
Plus, even if it is reduced significantly, then I bet the fish will be more interested in the other food.
I applaud your diligence and desire to make sure they are well fed :)

Let’s stick to your last sentence, “It’s definitely healthy and colorful”.
