I noticed a part of the acan frag I just got that was brownish and dead. I looked closer and there was a green hole in the acan. In the green hole there is this weird shrimp thing (kinda maybe like a sea spider) sitting there with part of his head popping out and the. Going back in the little hole. I dipped the corals I got in melafex, but apparently the melafex didn’t kill it. The thing is right in the middle, between the two acan heads. Anyone have any ideas?

Videos I'm not sure. That looks like a feather duster to me, harmless filter feeder.
Yeah that’s what I thought at first but, it looks like it has legs that it keeps taking food out of the water and putting it in his mouth. Plus, it looks like it has eyes... the two intenas on top that are longer than his legs (if those are legs) it just has the shape of a shrimp.

Coral Barnacle.
Yep... looks like that...
Are they harmful to the coral?
I noticed two other holes close to it that looks like it had barnacles in them before the melafex killed them or something.
