Green Star Coral - Reaching Out like fingers?

I've never heard of this happening, or seen it before now noticing it in my tank. Has anyone else ever seen GSP do this sort of branching? It is like it is making little fingers that are curled up flesh and extended outwards to look for something else to cling to.

(excuse the massive aptasia outbreak in the background... it is an annoying issue like herpes, lol)

Looks great and healthy. I noticed in higher flow it gets longer polyps. Lower flow shorter polyps

I noticed mine doing this recently as well. I think part too, for me anyway, it has no where else to spread as it’s on a lone island rock
