Growing chaeto with IM 9 watt 2 in one Chaeto light

I’ve been using innovative’s chaeto light in my sump to try to grow chaeto, my first batch didn’t grow at all but I think I had too much flow directed on it and eventually it just disappeared (pieces were getting into the return area and ending up in the dt.
Anyway I’m trying again, I’ve lined the basket in my sump with netting so it doesn’t separate and get out, there’s rubble rock on the bottom of the basket with the chaeto on top, I’m using chaeto grow and running the light 8pm to 8 am.
The way it’s made you can only mount it so far above the sump. I’m wondering if maybe it’s not mounted close enough or maybe too close or not centered enough?
Any suggestions or advice, it’s been a week and the new batch isn’t looking so good

Are you dosing Chaeto grow?

I dose it bro and leave it alone and it grows every time

Yes, it’s not grown much yet and it’s not as green as it was
