I’ve had a Flame Angelfish for a couple of months, developing a small growth near its mouth/gills. I’ve tried to attach photographs here.

Any idea what it is, or how I can treat it? It doesn’t seem to be bothering the fish, and doesn’t appear on any others in the tank.

It isn't likely to be anything infectious to other fish. It looks like it involves the fish's cheek spine. I see that a lot from net damage. Maybe it got into a tussle with another fish? I would just wait and see how it progresses because the only treatment would be to move the fish to a treatment tank and dose with antibiotics - and that's hard to do, and sometimes, these issues go away on their own. Signs that it needs treatment is: rapidly increasing in size, the fish going off feed, or starting to breath fast.
