Hey growmie! I’m looking at getting some new clones myself. I had to kill off my last run do to Japanese rice root aphids, little f’ers. I’ve had a few really successful runs though. Around 300 g’s per plant. Indoor, co2, hydro trays with rockwool & coco, temp and humidity control, oscillating fans galore. I really dove deep into it, as I did with reefing lol. My post harvest process was up to professional standards as well, the finished product looked, smelled and smoked so great, it was such fire. Excited to start another run. The last successful run had me, friends and family smoking for free premium dank dank for like 6 months, it was glorious .
Post some pictures if you’d like!

This was my small tent in soil a few runs ago. Sour diesel, it’s a fairly tricky strain to get weight off. The buds kept swelling at least twice the size after this pic. Front right plant is Gelato 33.

1 of 4 turkey bags trimmed I got from that run.

gelato 33, turned out the best
I have a bigger tent now with hydro trays. I don’t have any cool pics with plants that are impressive sized yet, no plants at the moment. These were the small plants in my small vegetative tent on a hydro tray before I got the irrigation hooked up. London Poundcake and Marshmallow OG, amazing lineage, I’m so sad they got pests :(

I also did deep water culture one run but I can’t find any pics of that :(

Gotcha. That's the only place I've ever heard growmie. I picked it up from there.

18 was a lot, because they had to come out of the grow area, to be watered and fed.
Ah, I’m in a bunch of Facebook groups that use that term too. Also when I was working in the industry people would address me as that if we both had home grows going :face-with-tears-of-joy:

I assume that oregano needs some carbon filters
Yessir. I have a large 6 inch diameter carbon filter for exhaust air. I now also have a 4inch carbon intake as well. It’s all legal here but the smell is too overwhelming to live in without the filter :face-with-tears-of-joy:. With running co2 I try to limit how much the grow space ‘breathes’ with exhaust and intake fans. I go through a 20lb co2 tank per week as is while trying to trap as much co2 as I can in there while keeping all other parameters in check. I keep the co2 at 1400 which is very high but the plants love it.

Thats a lot of work. Few blocks away from us. That is all you can smell. I think they dont care about no filters. :rolling-on-the-floor-laughing:

During vegetative growth, no. During flower, absolutely. During the end of the run when the plants smelled the strongest, I could sometimes smell them outside my house even with 2, 6" carbon filters on the exhausted.

@Lost in the Sauce or any other torchy person:

Could I pick your brain(s) some more?

Along with the "oh Crap" treatment concoction, what does your typical Torch incoming process look like? Assuming corals come in looking ok, which products do you use for initial dipping or pretreatments?

Just trying to get my gameplan in place prior to any larger purchase.

I Think of them like every other coral. Visual inspection and scrubbing of the skeleton, mostly looking for flat worms and their eggs. I use whatever dip I have on hand. Currently using red Sea which is clove oil I think. I don't pre treat with any meds.

One thing I do specifically with torches though is put them where I want them to be immediately. Torches don't like being moved or touched or manhandled so I tried to not do that, as often as possible.
