In theory yes. By topping each main branch above two nodes, It's splits the arteries and creates two mains versus one. Do this enough times keeping them at the same height and you produce a good wide canopy for flowering where the primary level is all getting equal light

She's looking good but we need to talk about the nutrients. That coloration on the fans is reading low potassium (k) and low manganese (Mg). Are the very tips starting to burn?

I'm guessing those two are locked out.She's probably ready for a full rodi 5 gallon flush of the soil to release the built up salts.
