Welcome, Gus! Nice start so far!

Your reef is looking amazing!
It's looking great Gus...congrats.
Thank you. Transferring everything over from my last display really helped with the process. I’ve had my live rock for the last 12 years, so it’s filled with life, as a matter of fact, I’m already seeing feather dusters and small critters appear.

Started adding kalk in my ato container to keep parameters in check, it’s seems to be keeping everything pretty stable. I can definitely see a difference in the coral after applying this method of dosing. I was wondering If it’s even necessary in setting up my BM doser with this method.
I hope all my Reef2Reefers are having a great week so far!
Please post your thoughts on dosing kalk in an ato.

Quick little update.
Added a 3-4” Derasa clam, and scored a good deal on some sps, which seem to be coloring up nicely!
also scored an amazing deal from Golden State corals on a 2.5” Scoly.
Not bad for an almost 3 month old tank.
just dealing with a little hair algae, which doesn’t really bother me.

A couple of shots of my plate garden, all of the skeletons seem to be developing babies, with the smallest skeleton being under a dime size. Thanks for looking, hope everyone is staying healthy and taking their vitamins! :p

It’s easy, plants IMO are like keeping Coral.
If you read the ingredients in some of the fertilizer, you’d probably have a chuckle. Let me know if you ever need some Tips. I also grow various other things like fruit trees, vegetables etc...
