So finally coming back to the cube club! I missed my 104g Seahorse cube so much that I needed a new cube!
Link to my old seahorse cube is anyone wants to take a look: 104g cube

Link to my imgbb albums if anyone like looking at pics from old build threads: Link

So like a few others on this cube forum getting ML 150g DD tanks for deals too good to pass up, I also got mine for an awesome deal. FREE! A buddy of mine was clearing out his storage unit and had this tank in the back and just wanted it gone so he gave it to me. I have been out of the hobby for about 3 years at this point but still had a ton of reef equipment in my attic collecting dust so I figured it's time to come back.

So for the plans for this tank, I think I am going to do a wrasse focused mixed reef. I have always loved my leopard wrasses and have a great method for getting them eating. So that is my goal for this tank. I will have some other small fish to add some variation and maybe a tang but gonna stick to wrasses for the most part.

Equipment so far:
Trigger Systems Ruby 30
Skimz Monzter SM167
Aquatic Life 36" t5 hybrid fixture
Apex
Jebao DCP-8000
2x Jebao SCP-150
Avast Marine MR5 reactor
2x Finnex Planted+24/7 for fuge light and 10g QT tank

Equipment planned:
2x Radion xr30s G4
2x SeaSwirl 1" (Maybe, not sure yet)
Algae Scrubber (Lights ordered off ebay and just waiting for them to come to start building it)

Who gives away a 150 DD? You are so lucky. Can't wait to see this come along.
A good friend. But I have given the guy a ton of corals in the past so I think he wanted me to come back to the hobby so I can start ordering new corals into the area.

So I also had a bunch of parts of RO/DI units from the past but did not have a working unit. So rebuilt a new one with the parts. I have some leaking going on with it, so I need to swap a few connectors but overall works pretty good.

So I am having to build the stand since it did not come with one. Currently it's only a shell but I should get it framed here in the next few weeks. I have painted it with garage floor sealant because it can stand up to the caustic levels of salt with aquariums. I plan on painting the shell glossy white. I am going to add some dropdown shelves in-between the cross braces to store test kits and other maintenance tools.

Pretty impressive to make a 6 or 7 stage unit with parts on hand.
Yah tells you how addicted I was in the past ;Playful I really need to downsize my fish attic. I am pretty sure I have enough halide stuff to light 4-5 large tanks.

Yah I feel you there. They are so proven thats its hard to let them go. I think I have a case of 250w 14k phoenix bulbs, up there, when I found out they were discontinuing the bulbs I stocked up.

And here is my plan for plumbing so far. I need 2 more unions on either side of the manifold but may add some more. Also be debating on what color to do for plumbing. Whether on doing red pipe with black fittings or black pipe with red fittings. And whether on Matte or Glossy paint.

That ruby color of your sump would be hard to match up but man that would be awesome with black.
Yah I am going to have to do some testing to find the right red. I may have to do a black basecoat and then a light spray of the red.
