2 month old tank. Live rock seeded. Long stringy algae type substance has taken over. Looks like snot when removed from tank. Has some bubbles which makes me lean dinos but doesn’t look any better in the morning.

Does not look like any photos I can find online. Any idea what it is?

Unsure without parameters. Either way I'd be removing what I could during water changes. Don't see any clean up crew either.

Appreciate the help. I will update ASAP. Didn't want to add any clean up crew since it was a new tank with nothing for them to eat. Was hoping to identify this first and then start but this spread pretty quickly.

If in the US check out reefcleaners.org, good variety in their cleaner packages.

Any suggestions on where would you would start? Was leaning that way but the packages seem a bit heavy for a bare bottom 32g tank.

I always start with a smaller package. Get one a few sizes smaller. They seem like way too many but some of the snails are very small.
