Use your hacksaw and just rinse it well in a bowl of tank water before putting it back in the tank… you’re cutting through a bone structure that’s fairly hollow it will be fine.. a pair of scissors would get the job done if you’re careful not to cut yourself lol.. I’ve used wire cutters that are rusty and all inside my tank there’s no issues.
Ok I might give it a try lax I appreciate the help Troylee.

Here is an update. Coral was not looking any better maybe worse so I took it out. Here is a better picture of what was on it. Maybe you could identify what the problem was now.

We explained to you that your tank was not ready for euphyllia days ago and they were slowly starving to death. When a coral is starved whether it be nutrients or light it will open the door and make the coral susceptible to infections just like in unhealthy humans. Once again get your phosphates up and cross your fingers that the rest of your LPS doesn't follow.

Working on getting phosphate up. Feeding reef roids.

well, duh

I made Thai post to talk about brown jelly disease not to talk about phosphate. The coral is gone in the can.
The fact that you can't consolidate the information you've received throughout several threads is concerning.
If you stress your corals, they can succumb to disease and die. BJD is a disease (for the purposes of this explanation). Starving is very stressful to coral.
Do you see the possible connection?
Even if this wasn't BJD (and I'm doubtful it was), you've asked repeatedly about the health of your corals so it seems logical that some people will reply to your situation as a whole.

All of the threads were about different topics one was about phosphate and nitrate and the other was about BJD. I feed more corals well I just need phosphate. And I think it was BJD. Others that seem to know what they are talking about said it was and it was a good idea to get rid of it.

Oh I have no doubt the coral was a goner and headed for the trash. My point was that all the different problems you post about are related, whether you see it or not.

I am having the same situation right now and just wanted to share what I am doing to counter it, if i can. I dont have cipro. I read on another forum of dipping it in diluted peroxide. I am on my third day now observing the situation. I have similar to your and i dont believe it is BJD. it is just slowly very slowly dying. Getting smaller and smaller. I am not sure if peroxide works, but just in case you are interested, i am using 1:20 peroxide (3%) to tank water ration for 4 minutes. good luck!

No it's not.... that's probably the worst suggestion you've received. Turn off your skimmer, feed your fish, and don't over do the roids. You ain't ready for peroxide for anything slim.
I am not gonna do it now. Maybe in the future. But I am keeping skimmer and ReefMat if and feeding fish

I don’t know all the history here obviously but I see everyone attacking this dude… I’m only familiar with this thread from him and it was legit questions and he’s asking for help… have they all turned out this way? He’s trying or he wouldn’t be asking or listening to anyone.
