last week i tested my po4 with the hanna h1774 and sent in an ICP triton test on the same day.

the Hanna Reads .50PPM

and the Triton ICP reads .1071 MG/L

what is the conversion from ppm to Mg/L and i wonder which test kit is more accurate

I think it's almost 1:1... .5ppm is about .4994 mg/l. but don't quote me on this:D

1 mg/L = 1ppm

that is what i thought it was 1 to 1 but i don't think my po4 is .5 because my corals would look like trash.. and the icp kit was reading .1071 so now I am wondering LOL what my po4 is

did the ICP report .1071 ppm PO4 or just P, phosphorus? (they differ by a factor of ~3)

The same here!

Triton ICP reads PO4 = 0.08 and my Hanna checker Phosphate ULR reads 0.38. Do not know what is going on... In my case, it takes 5 days to get the ICP results (counting from the day I take and send the water sample), so I was wondering if any kind of bacteria inside the water sample consumes the PO4 during that amount of time.
