Water test on Monday.

I kinda do the same as above, I change on Sunday, and then give it a day or two and check all my parameters again. Everything maintains quite well. Days off are great maintenance days, mine are Sunday and Monday

Sundays are supposed to be waterchange days. Mondays testing. The past 2 weeks I missed been working on the upgrade. Figure it i can get the 180g cycled and rock moved over that's a 100% water change. Unless i use some of the current water in sump.

When I'm up and running it'll be done on a random weekday midweek sometime. Saturdays are my down-day and Sundays are chore day. And I don't want to add yet another thing to a Sunday.

Have you tried magnolia leaves? Best substrate IMO.

I have used them in my blackwater tank but not in my gecko enclosures.

I do daily water changes. I've found that is what works best for my schedule.
