I’m really considering getting this beautiful longnose butterfly that I’ve been eyeing for the past few days at petco. I know they may or may not be reef safe. I know it’s a shot in the dark, but maybe It won’t pick at my only sps system. There’s no clams, dusters, but only snails. Has anyone had experience keeping these and not having coral issues ?

It's only been 17 minutes, relax, lol.

I've had one previously, much like all the other butterfly fish, they can be fickle in the beginning. In my case, it didn't eat coral. Remember, every fish has its own personality!

P.S. it may not eat coral now, but it is capable of doing it later. These butterflies are on the low risk scale IMHO.
