Has anyone switched from refugium with chaeto to sulfur denitrator to manage nitrates?

Curious if anyone switched from refugium with chaeto to sulfur denitrator to manage their nitrates?

Why did you make the switch?
What has been your experience?
Would you recommend this to others?

I have switched from dosing 2 part to calcium reactor and that has made life much easier And my aquarium more stable. Wondering if this switch also makes life easier/stable.

I just started a thread about the sulphur denitrator I put online a week ago, to track my 150 gallon tank’s progress. It’s a heavily fed FOWLR— Nitrates of 160+ . Follow along if you’re interested. Best wishes.

I used the nitrate destroyer from donovan, to reduce nitrates they are currently stable at 5ppm and I no longer dose vinegar, I also have the refugium is stable with chaeto and many mysis shrimp but it never helps me with nitrate if with the po4 that is in 0.03
