The fun thing to watch isnt the yellow tang prices themselves. Its the prices of the other tangs from other source. Why should restrictions on a fish from Hawaii affect the price of fish from other sources, you ask? Because wholesalers decided to raise the prices.
Its a nice example of how prices at the high end of the curve affect prices at the low end of the curve.
