Hey Waterboxers. I am getting ready to set up my 100.3. What are you using for heaters and where are you putting them?

I use two 100 watt Cobalt Neotherms in the skimmer section of sump. I have 5 Neotherms that I had had a number of years and by far my favorite heater.

Are two 100 watts getting the job done on a 100 gallon tank? I’m trying to figure out a heater setup on my 100.3.

Absolutely, at least with the Cobalts. Never have a problem maintaining temp on my Waterbox 130.4. Problem is they are pretty much impossible to find in stock now.
