Heater with a controller to the eb823 energy bar

Can i pug it in to the bar it has a controller on it already. It is a finnex controller with a titanium heater element. will it work with two controllers.

You can, but I found that the Finnex t-stats are not very accurate. I still have my finnex titanium heaters, but went with the BRS controller and titanium heaters. I plug the BRS controller into the EB832 and use the t-stat on the controller to control the heaters with the EB832 outlet programmed as a secondary temp back up. Either way, you will need the program the secondary back up with a wider range than the primary to keep them from fighting each other.

If you have the finnex controller set to turn off at say 80F, set the plug on the eb823 to turn off at 83F (or near there) (if you also have temp probe).
