Started a 10g nuvo while going through a nursing program. The purpose of this nano is to have fun and maybe show some progression.

Please don’t respond to this thread.

So far this tanks has been up for almost a month and really not much is going on so weekly pre water change I’m going to post updates on the tank hopefully. Tomorrow I should be adding a leopard clownfish from @Pieces of the Ocean

Equipment:
AI Hydra 26HD (haven’t figured out how to actually transfer settings yet)

CD94E95E-72ED-43DF-BB1E-6F8E06639478.png

Sicce Syncra 1
Tunze ATO nano
Neo-therm 50w heater

Recently added a @Vivid Creative Aquatics random flow generator. Currently trying to use the rfg as the only source of flow which may or may not be working out time will tell.

Normal light setting 60/100ish

Also you can’t tell in these pictures the ripples that the rfg creates due to a overflow from my ATO. I didn’t want to add a controller/redundancies because this tank is meant to be simple. However, I’ve never experienced a ATO overflow so I’m still kind of just questioning if this will happen again anytime soon. Also I’d like do add that I have a second Tunze nano ATO that I’ve ran for years.

Will document the addition of the leopard tomorrow hopefully.

Update incoming! Probably tomorrow. Changed my light setting a little for my viewing preference after purchasing a seneye which I would definitely recommend! Also added some of my first frags mostly form an lfs within 30m of my house and a couple from bluefish back in Ohio. Pretty sure I’ve come up with my final filtration setup aswell as just got in a algae scrubber from Santa Monica Filtration. For tonight I’m going to do a WC and clean up a bit for pics.

I'm responding because I don't like rules ;)
I snagged a couple pairs of the black Leopards as well. Beautiful fish!

Looks like a great build.

So I picked up 7 new pieces/animals on Black Friday, I’m not proud of it but I couldn’t help myself when it came to the zoas in picture 1.

I was made aware of the changes effecting ricordea collection and to say the least it took a bit of searching to find these guys.

Finally one of my personal favorites and in my mind called old school frogspawn.

In a few weeks since weekly just didn’t seem like enough time had passed, after a WC I’ll post up a FTS.
Hope everyone enjoyed their thanksgiving!

Tanks getting full and dirty.

So I just recived a package from @premiumaquatics and as far as the package goes all I can say (until Christmas) the aqamai is the smallest nano sized pump I’ve ever seen. Hopefully will have more information on the pump and which ones I considered and have seen in person in a few weeks.

Light setting I’ve been rolling with the last few weeks. Staying with one setup I the hardest thing about LEDs for me. I measure the par think it’s perfect then one Frag looks unhappy.

I tried to take pictures with various lighting setting including my normal setting to give an idea of how the tank looks in general. I recently added a aqamai that I picked up from @Premiumaq and hope to install a ghost skimmer that has been in storage for 3-4yrs.
My algae scrubber is still settling in/developing enough algae to work properly. I’ve been on point with weekly WC @ 10% but might I’m considering bumping the wc up to 20% due to nitrates being above 10ppm and phosphate being around .1ppm. Probably do the wc revamp until next month when the skimmers been online for a few weeks

So I just snapped pictures with my regular phone camera and then with an app doing absolutely nothing on the app check it out. I was kind of surprised and so was my wife as she watched me go through the process of taking both pictures.

Overall I couldn’t be happier with the order and @CherryCorals Todd&Bretts patience with me as I put this pack together over the holidays. The packing and quality of health these frags show up in is why I’ll keep looking towards CC for corals.

Update rainford goby is mia. I think my dog ate him cause I’ve searched and searched for the little guy and can’t find him. I think maybe he reacted to me putting the frags in the tank but who knows.

Not 100% yet but my unknown zoa frag is recovering nicely. I placed it next to my newly acquired wwc pink kraks so if someone could pm me an I’d please do. Just and FYI these polyps will probably be much larger once completely recovered. I was told by @joshporksandwic that they were Queen krakatoas but I’m still just not sure. Also if there is a local to my area reefer who would like the front frag for free pm me. When these guys were happy they were some ofthe brightest zoas I had ever seen.
