I've been soaking up as much knowledge as I can from this group. But actually took the time to get signed up and stop lurking. Lol. This is my first ever salt water tank. It's a tiny 14g Biocube that I picked up for a good deal. I've been talking about doing it for years now. Just starting through the cycle now. I am at day 21 as of this post. This is a live fish tank cycle. I have been monitoring my levels daily, and probably have been trying to keep the tank too clean. I believe I am at the end of the de-nitration cycle, as things have steadied out. I've gone through a diatom bloom during a huge spike in nitrates. It is still currently battling that, but a lot of the brown has started to cycle to green. Heres a few snapshots of where I'm currently at. I would welcome any feedback as what to expect in the coming weeks. Thanks all!

It’s been pretty cool watching an explosion of pods in my tank. I haven’t populated any, it’s like they just appeared one day. At least I hope they’re pods. LOL.

Welcome to R2R! I wouldn't have been brave enough to add corals yet, but the tank looks great.
Yeah, totally a rookie move. But I have been very particular about water quality. Testing daily to make sure things don't spiral out of control. I have had no big swings and the softies are spreading quite well. I won't be adding anything else for quite awhile. I want to make sure it matures well.

Day 70 update of the nano-reef. Just starting to focus on the ecosystem now. Trying to maintain a steady stream of pods for the dragonette. My center chamber refugium will be up and running in a few days. I can not keep enough pods in DT to keep the dragonette happy. Macro algae in the main tank is taking off with new growth. BTA finally settled in to a nice spot that he loves. But my clown still shows it no love. The dotty back hangs out with him more than the clown. Hoping that one day he will host.
