Welcome! I love Central America but haven't been to Guatemala.Hey everyone! I'm Andrés, a total aquarium nerd (practitioner, enthusiast, fan?). I've had fresh water tanks my whole life, but got into reef tanks about 8 years ago. I set up my first one on a budget with used stuff from eBay. My tank was used too, and I had to fix it up. I've had some ups and downs, like the time my clownfish jumped out in the middle of the night (found him in the morning) and I cried lol! Last year, due to work, I had a "reset" and lost my Duncan's (which I'd had for years), zoas, and hammers. Only my pair of clownfish survived (tough little buggers). I'm currently upgrading my equipment and going a bit overboard since I'm planning to move and get a bigger tank. I'm getting married next year (hopefully she'll get me a new tank as a gift!). I have a question: I've searched online but couldn't find a simple answer. Is there a guide for changing light fixtures when the new one is much more powerful? I want to avoid unnecessary losses.
