Have you contacted Central indy aquatics or The Reef to see if they have anything or know of anybody that is looking to sell?
Yes and yes, nothing yet! I contacted premium Aquatics too!

How about Modern Aquatix? The last time I was in there he had some tanks in the back but I don't know how big they were.
I have not checked them out yet, most people don’t seem to stock tanks this big! Used seems my best avenue :/

I don't think modern stocks any tank really. He is pretty much special order only!

Have you thought about doing a wood tank? Where the sides and back are wood, and then the front is glass? I don't know if you want to see all the way through or not, I forget.

The tank will actually sit in unfinished basement storage room. So he will not want to see through. I would be interested in finding more info on the type of tank you speak of

Yup that's what I was talking about. Definitely a viable option. Also fiberglass may be worth a look if you don't want to DIY, I'd say you could get a hot tub manufacturer or something like that to make you one with the front open to glue glass in. I know a lot of large aquariums (public) use fiberglass, concrete or plywood.

That plywood tank looks pretty easy actually

I thought the same thing, and almost built one myself. Of course, I'm working on my tank from the back only so I needed to be able to see through the back.

Now I need to figure out where to buy 10-12 foot of glass...

Glass shop? Maybe somebody who makes aquariums... AGE , who is associated with the store I work at, makes our custom tanks and would have sheets of thick glass laying around for builds and stuff. Probably cost more than the rest of the plywood tank, but hey... worth it right?

I’m struggling to find anything 10 foot or larger. :/.

Yeah it’s not cheap. Worth it, yes!

You might have to go acrylic or do two panes of glass with as little of a seam as possible. :(

Those videos were great! I think this is a great "budget friendly" way of building a nice system. Looking forward to helping source and price it out! Then let the fun begin.
