This morning I noticed these raised bumps on my hippo tang. She is swimming, eating and breathing just fine. None of my other fish are showing any symptoms. I am currently treating my tank with dino-x as I had a small dino outbreak. Can anybody help ID? Reef safe treatments?

Can you post pictures taken under white light? Also, some history is important - there is a sticky post at the top of this section where I list things helpful to know about your tank.
Thanks,
Jay

I see 3 larger spots, 2 on the right and one on the left. Looks too large to be ich. Flukes don’t cause round spots like that. Sometimes, fish develop a few pustules that go away on their own. I would watch these for now - if they are still then in 36 hours, probably not ich. If they drop off and don’t return, same. The issue is, if they drop off and are replaced with more, smaller spots in new locations, that is more likely ich. You are going to be hard pressed to find a reef safe medication for that, that works.
